Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate property management and control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property, in line with government regulations, customer contracts, or corporate policies.
- Initiate and maintain property accountability records, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of all assets.
- Assess condition of property and arrange for the disposal of surplus or obsolete materials and equipment.
- Serve as subject matter expert during the contract proposal process, providing expertise on property management aspects.
- Negotiate sales or transfers of property by contacting potential users and arranging necessary transactions.
- Conduct property audits to verify the accuracy of records and ensure compliance with property control standards.
- Develop, recommend, and implement property administration policies and processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports related to taxes, rentals, leasing, insurance, and facility usage to meet internal requirements and contractual obligations.
- Interface with management and customer representatives to maintain a continually approved property control system and ensure adherence to established standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in property management or a related field. Strong knowledge of property management principles, government regulations, and corporate policies. Experience with property audits, surplus disposal, and negotiating property transfers. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
