What you will be doing:

The Analyst is responsible for creating and managing financial tools, conducting research, and collecting and analyzing data. The Analyst will play an active role in the problem-solving aspect of engagements, and complete project tasks within scope and budget.

  • Perform analysis of medical and surgical products to identify savings opportunities.

  • Complete compilation of analytical reporting packages.

  • Develop customized analytical reports to meet requests of external and internal customers.

  • Presentation of analysis to all levels of management.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- 45%

Analyst is responsible for creating, predicting, and monitoring supply chain inventory, par, and other product locations. The Analyst will perform analysis of medical and surgical products in par locations, inventory technology use, support location maintenance, etc. These activities also include identification of opportunities or perform analysis of supply chain operations activities and data to identify operational enhancements, transformation, and savings.

  • Perform analysis based on standard metrics and reporting to track inventory needs by location.

  • Uses expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, project management software (e.g., MS Project) and flowcharting software (e.g., Visio) to create daily deliverables accurately, with attention to detail, and on time.

  • Participates in identifying business and technical problems/ works with team to create innovative solutions.

  • Responsible to conduct research and analyze data.

  • Conducts standardized analytics to effectively manage inventory control needs.

Responsibility #2 - 45%

The Analyst is also responsible for par level active management, location updates, tracking, and proactive monitoring. The Analyst will play an active role in the problem solving and is responsible for performing excellent - analyzing problems and recommending creative solutions for the variability within the specific locations environment.

  • Manage location specific changes and technology optimizations.

  • Coordinate with distribution and warehouse management teams.

  • Coordinate with Analyst team to manage location products, strategies, changes, and needs.

  • Supports maintenance activities of inventory and par locations (Lawson 2-Bin, Perpetual/Non-Perpetual, Clean Supply, etc.)

  • Conducts location specific updates of product changes.

Responsibility #3 - 10%

An Analyst should have strong presentation and communication skills and a high focus on attention to detail.

  • Ensures adequate supply levels and coordinates with necessary teams to mitigate risks.

  • Maintains open lines of communication with the clinical staff to ensure materials meet the required standard.

  • Performs necessary activities around backorder adjustments and works to eliminate stock outs.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Skills:

  • Analytical Reports

  • Project management

  • Inventory management analytics

Experience:

  • Access/SQL experience

  • Previous healthcare, supply chain or materials management experience

Working Conditions: Hospital Environment Travel Requirements: No travel required Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $43,000 - $79,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
