Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Division of Enrollment Management. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach, The Program Coordinator II has responsibility for a range of duties typically associated with recruiting the entering class at various stages of the recruitment cycle through enrollment.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Provides administrative support for department initiatives, coordinates recruitment and outreach events, and manages a recruitment market by conducting outreach to prospective students and school counselors.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Automobile drivers license and passport required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong computer literacy, demonstration of solid judgment, organizational, planning, coordination, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
  • The individual will be motivated and imaginative with the ability to handle considerable and varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well independently and on a team; and represent the university knowledgeably, articulately and enthusiastically with an effective professional demeanor.
  • Automobile drivers license and passport required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a higher education setting is highly desirable.
Equipment Utilized
  • This position should be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and have general computer literacy
Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Standing and/or sitting, often for several hours at a time while at recruitment events.
  • Occasional light lifting/carrying.
  • Work will primarily be conducted in an office setting, with some travel to off campus events.
