AGE Solutions is looking for a Cross Domain Security SME to join our team in support of an upcoming cybersecurity risk management and assessment program with our DoD customer. In this position, you will provide Cross Domain Subject Matter Expert-level support to RME in the area of CDS. Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek. Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and coordinate DoD commercial cloud, DISA CDSE, and Point-to-Point Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) efforts in collaboration with DCSA
- Serve as alternate DSAWG representative, providing subject matter expertise on DoDIN-related risk in a multi-agency, high-visibility setting
- Support internal and external customers in resolving authorization and connection request issues and guide them toward compliance
- Review and provide feedback on Cross Domain implementations and DISA scorecard documentation to support tracking and reporting
- Oversee the DISA CDS process and recommend improvements at CDTAB/DSAWG forums
- Track required updates to the SGS database and coordinate delivery of topology and architecture changes to the DISA A&A team
- Manage organizational Cross Domain activities and maintain communication with the National Cross Domain Strategy & Management Office (NCDSMO) regarding requirements, gaps, and capabilities
- Stay current on CDS capabilities and NCDSMO baseline offerings through meetings, forums, and portal access
- Ensure new CDS efforts align with NCDSMO coordination, community goals, and gap assessments
- Support Cross Domain-related RMF activities and integrate IA requirements across the acquisition and development lifecycle
- Represent organizational CDS needs at community forums and provide summaries
- Maintain visibility on CDS architectures, configurations, and implementations within the organization
- Attend on-site assessments and provide after-action reports
- Review CDS requirements from agencies lacking a CDS office, recommend Government approval, and sponsor through the Secret and Below Interoperability process
- Review and improve up to five DISA briefings annually before board submission; enhance clarity and success rate
- Create presentation slides for CDTAB, DSAWG, and ISRMC using standard templates.
- Analyze eVotes from DSAWG and recommend positions or comments
- Develop and sustain process guides supporting DISA and DoD CDS implementations
- Deliver decision, position, and white papers supporting DISA's stance on board-related topics
- Manage registration and authorization of CDSE, Point-to-Point CDS, and ECDSP offerings; maintain reporting in applicable databases
- Brief RE leadership weekly on CDS action item status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
- Ten (10) years overall in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or a similar technical field
- Three (3) years specifically working with CDS, high-assurance environments, or government systems.
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level III certification
- Subject matter expertise in Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) architecture, technologies integration, and deployment
- Familiarity with data transfer technologies across security domains
- Demonstrate the ability to identify solutions to bring out-of-compliance systems/networks/architectures into compliance with connection requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement
Compensation: $160,000 - $170,000
