Description

Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company, is looking for a ITS Preventative Maintenance Technician to work out of our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office location. The successful candidate will have had 0-1 years of related experience and minimum requirement of a high school diploma from an accredited high school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:



  • Preventative Maintenance services for ITS equipment.
  • Familiar with ITS field devices such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, fiber optic and power systems.
  • Install/repair equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, controller cabinets.
  • Install/repair electrical conductor, data conductor, and fiber optic cable.
  • Install/repair pull boxes, conduit, poles and foundations.
  • Connects conductors to equipment to make equipment work correctly.
  • Connects electrical conductors to power services to energize equipment.
  • Tests devices to ensure they work correctly.
  • Prepares logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities.

  • High school diploma from an accredited high school. Technical coursework in related field is preferred.
