Cloud Cybersecurity Architecture SME

AGE Solutions is looking for a Cloud Cybersecurity Architecture SME to join our team in support of an upcoming cybersecurity risk management and assessment program with our DoD customer. In this position, you will apply your expert technical knowledge in cloud computing technology, cybersecurity principles, and architectural solutions to protect against threats.

Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide guidance to all RE2 tasks to ensure appropriate coordination with cloud cybersecurity and architecture organizations is accomplished to support RE2 mission areas.
• Attend technical kick-off meetings and review preliminary analysis to understand and document a CSP's readiness posture.
• Develop and maintain the cloud security architecture framework and strategies to enhance the security of cloud-based environments.
• Provide the RE2 mission areas in support of collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure cloud security architectures are aligned with overall business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Review risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and recommend mitigative or compensatory controls.
• Collaborate with the RE2 cybersecurity team to ensure cloud security architectures are aligned with overall business objectives and compliance requirements outlined in the Cloud Computing SRG.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security matters related to CSOs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, security threats, and industry best practices to continuously improve the security posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
• Five (5) years of relevant experience of cloud architecture or cloud enterprise experience
• Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level III certification
• Demonstrable expertise in cloud service models (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS)), cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid), and a strong background in cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
• Demonstrate technical knowledge and experience with cloud assessment methodologies, architectures, risks, vulnerabilities, and threats
• Demonstrate experience in applying and evaluating the RMF to cloud-based providers and their offerings
• Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with FedRAMP and DoD IA policies, NIST 800 series, CNSS 1253, CNSSP 32, and the DoD 8500 series
• Demonstrate knowledge of and experience in the DoD CC SRG and FedRAMP A&A guidance
• Demonstrate the ability to apply the appropriate FedRAMP and DoD-approved architectures, programs, standards, and guidelines
• Demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate systems, applications, and services, and be able to identify system functions and relationships that support the goals and objections of the current and future Cloud efforts throughout the enterprise.

Compensation: $160,000 - $172,000
