Job Overview:

The provider is responsible for all care including preventative care, diagnosis, management, and treatment to all patients. These responsibilities are discharged as described in the Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff .

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master s degree in Nursing required.
  • Registered Professional Nurse with current NJ state license; CDS and DEA.
  • CPR certification.
  • NP Certification.
  • Three to five years of work experience as a professional nurse.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem
  • Day Shift

Essential Functions:

  • Complete age appropriate evaluations and preventative care
  • Routine age appropriate screenings as advised by American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Provide routine immunizations as directed by American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control
  • Management of acute and chronic illness
  • Review of information from patient caretakers and patient
  • Diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Prescription of pharmacological agents where indicated and management of prescribed medications
  • Performance of procedures where indicated
  • Referral and coordination of care with specialty providers when appropriate
  • Management of care including home nursing orders, durable medical equipment, and plans of care for school
  • Anticipatory guidance regarding growth, development, and medical conditions to caretakers
  • Educate caretakers regarding pharmacotherapy, as needed
  • Educate caretakers regarding procedures, as needed
