RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Manager for the Cardiac Service Administration at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field is required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
  • Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver s License

Preferred:

  • Masters degree is preferred
  • Experience Minimum of 5 years in cardiac care quality management or program administration
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • Certification in quality improvement or cardiac care eg CCRP CPHQ are a strong

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day shift, 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

  • The Clinical Manager of Heart Vascular and HRRP at Community Medical Center holds a pivotal role in overseeing the quality productivity growth and strategic alignment of the heart and vascular service line
  • The Clinical Manager will drive efforts to optimize quality metrics promote service line expansion and ensure compliance with accreditation and organizational goals
  • The Clinical Manager will also be responsible for the management of the Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program HRRP and will support process improvement efforts for the Healthy Lives Program contributing to better outcomes for the community
  • Reporting directly to the AVP of Clinical Operations this position ensures alignment with hospital wide priorities and initiatives Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management Oversee quality data abstractors and cardiac rehabilitation staff ensuring team alignment with strategic goals
  • The Clinical Manager will foster a collaborative culture of continuous improvement within multidisciplinary teams The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
  • The Clinical Manager will provide coaching mentorship and comprehensive performance evaluations to direct reports Quality Oversight Lead and manage all quality improvement initiatives for the heart and vascular service line at Community Medical Center including Reducing heart failure readmissions
  • The Clinical Manager will supervise and optimize the outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation program including patient throughput staff productivity and overall operational efficiency Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth of outpatient rehab services to meet rising community demand Ensure high quality patient centered cardiac rehabilitation services through continuous improvement initiatives
