Business Analyst - San Antonio, Texas

The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with the regional project team, market leadership, and other matrixed team to: collect data from a variety of sources; the creation, development, and maintenance of tools and reports; requirements gathering and documentation; and analyzing results in support of organizational objectives.

If you are located in San Antonio, TX you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Researches, retrieves, designs and delivers organized analytics and reporting to create repeatable and scalable models
  • Analyzes benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurements
  • Forecasts operational trends against strategy
  • Develops and documents complex business, analysis and reporting requirements
  • Evaluates and prioritizes data changes and enhancements
  • Reviews the analytics and reporting of others within the department
  • Provides data for leadership to make decisions of considerable impact and consequences
  • Interprets data, facts and/or trends independently and makes business recommendations to management
  • Coordinates a variety of projects/requests simultaneously and ensures timely completion in accordance with business initiatives
  • Develops and recommends innovative approaches to achieve deliverables
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of progressive business experience in aggregation and analysis of multiple sets of data
  • Intermediate or more experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint with intermediate knowledge of SQL

  • Proven ability to interact effectively to include presenting work product, facilitating meetings, and capturing business requirements with different business departments, team members, and matrixed teams at all levels

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
