JOB TITLE: RSPC Raw Room Operator

REPORTING TO: Production/RSPC Supervisor

LOCATION: Tulare, CA

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Sunday - Thursday)

From your PASSION to ours

Reporting to the RSPC Supervisor(s), the RSPC Raw Room Operator must be able to demonstrate flexibility to work in all aspects of cultured processing including but not limited to, dressing make, pasteurizing, vats, sour cream make, Feta Make, daily and master sanitation of work area and completion of all other duties as required.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for recording documents for traceability purposes.
  • Accountable for conducting and logging daily, weekly, and monthly Sanitation procedures.
  • Must oversee and maintain Silo Management. (Start-up, Shutdown, CIP and Monitoring.)
  • Communicate and pass down critical business information throughout the day and at shift change.
  • Follow the Qualification process to complete training requirements.
  • Conduct failure analysis including discovering root causes, creating and implementing corrective action.
  • Actively identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and support maintenance when needed.
  • Must be able to multi-task as needed for job duties
  • Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant's QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Must be able to Physically stage and dump powder bags weighing up to 50lbs each
  • Must be able to understand the process of an R/O filtration system.
  • Must receive a pasteurizer license within 3 months of being placed in the position.
  • Regular Attendance is an essential function of the job. Other duties as assigned.

  • Must work in a safe, sanitary and productive manner in accordance with LHD GMP's.
  • Documented job performance work record and attendance record to be reviewed.
  • Specialized training or licenses relevant to job (including pasteurizer license).
  • Good business participation (i.e. Level 1, safety, process improvement)
