Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Production Operator for a temp-to-hire role at a sustainable manufacturing company in Houston, TX. If you're reliable, safety-conscious, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply!

Compensation and Schedule



  • Pay Rate: $16/hour
  • Schedule: Rotating 7 to 7 schedule every 4 weeks. Must be flexible Monday to Sunday, day or night.



Position Overview

As a Production Operator, you will support machine operators by loading and unloading materials and following instructions for up to 2 production lines. Reliability, consistency, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to the 5S program.
  • Unload and load products for 2 production lines.
  • Manage the rod line, grinder, and other support equipment.
  • Ensure all rolls are labeled correctly and placed in the proper location.

Basic Qualifications



  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience in manufacturing (plastics preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules, instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to operate cranes and roll-handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for the full shift.
