AsSr. Software Developer I, you'll be involved in efforts to conceptualize, design, implement, and support T&E workflows for computer-vision AI/ML use cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing Python applications that use machine learning. A working knowledge of data science principles, especially related to computer vision, is a significant advantage. We know that you can't have great technology services without amazing people. What you'll do: Develop computer vision AI/ML T&E workflows as part of a ~10-member team of engineers and software developers. Develop understanding of user workflow needs and propose appropriate solutions based on those needs. Develop AI/ML tools, techniques, and workflows that demonstrate best-practices and serve as reference implementations for customers. Design and conduct simulations to evaluate the performance of proposed solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build user-facing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to modeling and simulation. Document and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Stay informed of emerging trends in the scientific Python community. What you'll need to succeed: An active DoD Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience writing Python applications for data science, model development, or similar use-cases. Strong proficiency in standard scientific Python libraries (e.g. NumPy, PyTorch). A working understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design. Extensive experience working with Git version control and participating in code reviews.
