Job Description

We are currently hiring a People and Culture Specialist in Boston, MA.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).

The People & Culture Specialist is responsible for providing support and ownership for key processes and programs that are driven by the HR Business Partner Team and impact the broader the People and Culture department.

What You'll Brew:



  • Drive the planning, execution and communication of People & Culture Programs across the organization, including but not limited to, calibration, PDS, talent review, development plans, etc.
  • Owner of the company-wide engagement platform and responsible for identifying process and executing core programs that leverage this system
  • Work cross-functionally within P&C on process improvement initiatives
  • Data analysis for People & Culture decision-making and reporting
  • Process requests for the HR Business Partner team as it relates to coworker and business activity, including but not limited to HOPS Transactions, internal promotion/transfer letters, requisition for Talent Acquisition
  • Provide coverage to HR Business Partner need on executing key coworker life cycle activities including but not limited to, employee relations, exits, etc.
  • Other project ownership and support as needed
  • Occasional travel may be required and is at the discretion of your manager based on the needs of your position

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in an HR department within food, beverage or other consumer-branded/manufacturing business


Level: 7

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $59,500 and $106,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
