POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a future opportunity for a Role Player Supervisor supporting the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, NM. FLETC oror "the Facility" is host to approximately 88 participating agencies/bureaus and responsible for providing certain core instructional law enforcement programs as well as a variety of support services. FLETC has on-facility housing for approximately 1800 students and occasionally houses additional students off facility in local motel/hotels. The Facility and participating agencies have a staff of approximately 500.

Primary Location of work: FLETC is located at the corner of 1300 West Richey Avenue at approximately the northwest corner of the City of Artesia, New Mexico. The city is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 285 and 82.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.



  • Provide role players with the most recent version of scenarios.
  • Copy and distribute scenarios to role players.
  • Establish a written procedure describing accountability methods for scenario packages, including the title, date, and time the role player signed packages out and the date and time the role player signed packages back in.
  • Recruit, hire, discipline, and terminate role-playing employees.
  • Verify that role players are performing realistically as required by the character portrayed.
  • Upon notification from the Government, remove the obsolete scenarios package from the Technical Library and update the scenario listing.
  • Maintain daily records of role player working hours on form FTC-SVC-43 Receiving report time and Attendance Record.
  • Reconcile total role player hours each month and submit a report.
  • Monthly furnish the COR a list of all role player scripts on hand by title.


Payrate:$55,000 to $60,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
  • Extensive background in law enforcement, with preference given to retired law enforcement officers. Experience in federal law enforcement and a tactical background is preferred.
  • At least two years' prior experience in managing or leading a team of employees.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Have verifiable skills related to customer service, administration, multi-tasking, record keeping, and scheduling.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that foster teamwork and promote safety.
  • Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Have a valid state-issued driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and Spanish fluently.
  • Be able to complete and pass a background check through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and drug screening.
  • Be able to complete all required training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policies and procedure manuals. Ability to complete routine logs, reports, and correspondence.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage schedules, timekeeping records, and payroll records.
