Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Manager for our San Antonio district. This Project Manager position is a newly added role to the district for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters. Location: In office and travel to customer sites within the San Antonio district including the RGV and Austin areas as needed.
What you will do:
- Reviews project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required.
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
- Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
- Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
- Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- 2+ years of related project experience, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or comparable industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

The typical salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $132,800 in Texas. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
