Primary Purpose of the Position
Adjunct faculty are an integral part of the Master of Business Administration ( MBA) program. They provide an opportunity to hire experienced business professionals who bring their practical experiences into the classrooms. They focus mainly on excellence in instructions and practical applications. They offer cutting edge curriculum that helps the program to meet its mission, vision, and objectives. Adjunct faculty are critical to the implementation of the curriculum and development of students in meeting learning outcomes.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
To develop students within the Master's of Business Administration program.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • One or more years of teaching experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and diverse populations.


Normal Work Schedule

  • Ability to teach weekdays and/or evenings.


Department Required Skills

  • Masters or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • One or more years of teaching experience or three or more years of business experience.

  • Adequately prepare all course materials and lessons.
  • Provide students with clear course expectations, evaluations, timelines, and an approved syllabus.
  • Provide engaging and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes.
  • Suitably challenge, engage, serve, and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respect.
  • Complete grade books, mid-term and final grade submission, learning assessments, and final exam assessments on time.
  • Respond to student questions on a timely basis.
  • Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined in the syllabus.
