The Corporate Strategy Team works directly with our CEO, CFO, business unit Presidents and other senior leaders on a range of dynamic projects to support the long-term operational and growth objectives of the company, including organic and inorganic M&A. The Senior Manager, Strategy drives delivery of strategy initiatives for the company. The role will report into VP segment strategy and will partner closely with Product, Technology, Marketing and Sales leaders across Thomson Reuters as well as other members of the Strategy team. About the Role In this opportunity as a Senior Manager, Strategy, you will: Structure and drive strategy projects (or modules of large, complex initiatives), covering topics such as growth strategy, M&A, partnerships, strategic planning, and other key questions facing leadership Play an individual delivery role in executing complex projects Take the lead in creating deliverables and supporting communications of key findings to senior audiences, including business and functional leaders Collaborate with and present recommendations to senior-level stakeholders Engage externally with customers and other industry participants to maintain a pulse on industry trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Manager, Strategy if your background includes: Undergraduate degree required and further relevant education preferred e.g. MBA Fluency in written and spoken English Knowledge of the domains in which Thomson Reuters operates, such as Legal and Tax Minimum 4 years of relevant experience working in strategy consulting or in-house strategy teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong narrative and visual storytelling ability Ability to synthesize and simplify complex ideas Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines Proven experience working in large, complex, global organization with a successful track record of collaboratively working with colleagues across regions, markets and cultures Proven ability to build relationships and influence all levels within an organization including senior management Broad business acumen with deep experience in a variety of topics #LI-JK3 What's in it For You? Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
