A REMOTE UVM Verification Engineer job is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and ten plus years of experience designing FPGAs/ASICs. Experience aerospace and defense projects is strongly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for verification, documentation per the DO-254 guidelines, creating test plans, meeting timeline deliverables, overseeing JR engineers and providing guidance as required. This is a very visible opportunity requiring interfacing with internal management as well as customer facing interactions. This role can be worked from anywhere within the United States.

Job Duties:
* Generate detailed UVM model to meet program verification requirements.
* Meet all of the documentation needs of an aerospace development project
* Create and execute a test plan.
* Coordinate and Direct other members on the team to complete verification effort.
* Interface with customer in providing status and addressing opens, queries.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related discipline, advanced degree preferred.
* Ten plus years of experience designing and developing Verification artifacts for FPGAs/ASICs from concept through production. Aerospace experience required.
* Extensive experience with UVM Test Bench creation, updating, maintaining and meeting verification goals of an DO-254 DAL-A design
* Experience in DO-254 verification environment, documentation, process practices.
* Strong knowledge of industry standard verification tools and methodologies
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Excellent analytical, root cause, debugging and analytical skills
* Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $155,000 to $200,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
