Apply now Job Summary The Multiscale Computational Mechanics and Biomechanics Lab (MCMB Lab) at Drexel University is seeking for two immediate full-time Research Scientist positions to conduct research on modeling fracture and healing phenomena in autonomous self-healing concrete structures. We are looking for motivated Research Scientist candidates with great communication skills, who are interested in computational damage/healing analysis to develop computational frameworks for: a) multiscale reduced-order fracture modeling of vascular cementitious composites, b) modeling of stress corrosion cracking in steel-reinforced concrete structures, and c) coupled/uncoupled damage-healing modeling of self-healing concretes. The successful candidate will be part of a team, including researchers and scientists with experimental and numerical backgrounds from Drexel University. Essential Functions

The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
