Job: Class B Truck Driver
Shift: 1 st , 6: 15 am - until route is complete (M-F)
Pay: $ 24 +
Job Description:
The Class B Driver is responsible for following schedules and instructions to maintain a real time flow through the shipping and receiving areas in the plant. Identifying issues with their direct customers and reporting those issues to management will also be expected.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Proper tagging of all incoming orders in real time
  • Verify packaging is suitable prior to shipping
  • Loading & unloading trucks as needed
  • Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
  • Able to drive any Class B truck
  • Ability and willingness to learn any of the Class B routes
Truck Responsibilities
  • Keep updated maintenance on truck
  • Oil changes
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Overall cleanliness of truck, inside and outside
  • Fill out daily pre-trip inspection
  • Navigation of trucks safely on daily route
  • Individual to maintain their shipper queue daily
  • Fill out trip report log if your truck has IFTA plates

Customer Service
  • Deliver and pick up orders on time to exceed customers' expectations
  • Show courtesy, kindness, respect, & patience with all customers
  • Help customer to the best of your ability-if unable to assist have them contact customer service
  • Remain aware of overnight orders for their customers & ask production if they are not done to ensure orders make delivery times.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification
  • Class B license required
  • Current Fed Med Card required
  • MUST be able to drive split shift manual transmission
  • Route driving experience preferred
  • Fed Med card and Interstate accepted
  • Understand Bluestreak & Microsoft Office software & use it efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of Southeastern Wisconsin's roadways
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, & reading)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math knowledge
