TheProject Manager, Sales is responsible to oversee and lead complex projects from inception to completion. The role is critical for proper planning, coordinating, and executing projects. Provides strategic direction, manages resources, mitigates risks and communicates effectively with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through the developmental chain to ensure they are at the commercialization stage prior to handing off to sales, technical or manufacturing teams. Lead team to ensure project plans are completed successfully and on-time.
  • Manage the trials for innovations and project restages.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring each member understands their role.
  • Establish clear and effective communication channels with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns. Develop a keen understanding of the customers brand/implementation strategies and incorporate throughout execution.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track.
  • Manage time, department resources and budget to ensure effective and efficient execution of objectives and project plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule by monitoring timelines, identifying delays, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Address issues and obstacles promptly, finding practical solutions to keep the project moving forward.
  • Maintain accurate project management documentation and provide regular reports to management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
  • Prioritize customer needs and expectations, ensuring positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strive to proactively improve processes to ensure timely project deliverables, quality product and customer satisfaction.
  • Decipher customers design intent and understand label constructions to establish concise pricing requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Associates/Technical Degree preferred;
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within a manufacturing environment is required; 3 years of relevant experience in the label printing industry preferred;
  • Demonstrated project management skills and knowledgeable of project management tools and methods.
  • Rational, logical, fact-driven decision making.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft 365 and project manage
  • Some travel may be required; less than 20%
