Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Video Conferencing Technician MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in computer information systems or related field plus a minimum of ten years working in a videoconference system installation and videoconference systems support roles. Must have proven, strong experience with support of various videoconference, A/V and computer systems. Must be proficient in video conference endpoint management and support. Ability to read and understand electronic working diagrams, technical requirements, and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with clients and co-workers with minimal supervision. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Video Conferencing Engineer reports to the Managing Video Conferencing Engineer or designee and performs the following duties: This is a full-time 37.5-hour work week position with a salary range of $58,000-$62,000.
