The Engineering COO Office's Portfolio, Strategy, and Management (PSM) Pillar partners with engineering teams across the firm to drive strategic execution of engineering priorities. Our team is responsible for designing and implementing governance mechanisms (i.e., Working Backwards), technology solutions, and best practices that will support the firm's engineering strategic themes to further enhance clients' experience and the firm's operational efficiency.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Product Manager, you will be an experienced and seasoned PM, working cross-functionally to guide the PSM suite of products from conception through launch, growth, rearchitecture, and maturity by connecting the technical and business worlds to meet our customers at their needs. You will work backwards from the client to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and release adopting the principals of growth from MVP. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of technical programs, including end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, and tasked with employing every phase in the program's life cycle to deliver them in a successful and timely manner.

This role offers a high-profile opportunity to lead both products and projects which involve partnership with multiple businesses within the firm as well as engineering leadership.

Your key responsibilities would include:

• Responsible for making product decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining strategic focus
• Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements
• Ability to drive consensus and influence at all levels and across functions
• Develop and manage detailed program plans and roadmaps, and identify, monitor and track key deliverables and progress.
• Proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that cross organizational boundaries.
• Develop executive presentations and dashboards to ensure transparency.
• Self-directed team player with the ability to drive high performance and work independently and in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
• Results-oriented with ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects with multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities
• Being flexible to contribute to other activities within the group where necessary (e.g. project management training, developing communications).

A successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or related technical discipline
• 7+ years' of product management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
• Functional knowledge of business and product management capabilities (Working Backwards process, OKRs, vendor management, financial planning and analysis)
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Excel, GitLab, GitHub
• Proficient in low code applications like SmartSheet and Alteryx is a plus
• Experience with Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (Qliksense, Tableau, etc.), general query and scripting (SQL, python, etc.) is a significant plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with a demonstrated understanding of product management processes, artifacts and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills speaking to technical and business audiences,
• Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
• Highly motivated self-starter with a focus on execution
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders
• Must work well in a global team, multi-tasking environment and under pressure
• Adaptability and being comfortable with uncertainty
