Elma Electronic Inc. is seeking a motivated Integration and Test Engineering Intern. As an Integration and Test Engineering Intern, you will assist a team in performing the integration and testing of Elma products. This will include working with both hardware, software, and different operating systems. You will help develop system integration and test procedures and associated documentation for customer-specific projects. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the integration of systems, including the installation of operating systems, drivers, and patches.
- Support the development and testing of new and existing applications, including test scripts and documentation.
- Aid in troubleshooting prototype and repeat products/systems.
- Test integrated systems prior to shipment to ensure proper operation.
- Assist in the creation and management of system integration procedures and documentation.
- Support customers on system integration projects.
- Read and interpret schematics and layout drawings.
- Perform rework on electronic circuit boards under the guidance of the Design team.
- Operate various oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Gain familiarity with Windows and Linux-based software, including installation.
- Learn and become familiar with network protocols: IPv4, TCP, UDP, DHCP, SNMP, TFTP, and IGMP.
- Gain experience with embedded system standards such as VPX, VNX, VNX, VME64X, VXS, CPCI Serial, ATCA, etc.
- Develop testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Programming in PowerSheel, BASH, C, or Python.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of system-level testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and apply technical knowledge in a practical environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
