*Position Overview:*
TEKsystems is seeking a service desk technician for one of our clients based out of Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and technical support. This role includes both in-office and remote work opportunities, with flexibility to accommodate the best candidates for the position. *Work Schedule:* * Hybrid shift: 3 days in the office per week. * Core business hours: Monday through Friday, 7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM (Eastern Time). *Primary Responsibilities:* * Provide technical support via phone to resolve customer issues. * Respond to tickets submitted through a self-service portal and incoming chat requests. * Manage personal ticket workload, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. * Stay informed about company products and services by attending training sessions and reviewing relevant documentation. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Strong customer service skills are essential. * Previous experience in roles involving phone or email support, particularly in contact centers, is advantageous. * Familiarity with ticketing systems is preferred. * Ability to navigate computer-based applications and manage ticket documentation effectively. * General understanding of technical platforms and willingness to learn, but advanced technical expertise is not required. * One to two years of relevant experience or equivalent education is desirable, though a degree is not required. *Skills:* * Help desk support * Troubleshooting * Service desk operations * Technical assistance *Additional Considerations:* * Certifications such as A+ are valuable. * Flexibility in scheduling is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
