Pipefitter Superintendent

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Direct Hire

Pay: $45 hr. to $52 hr.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Superintendent role or similar leadership position in the construction industry, with a strong background in plumbing, HVAC, or piping.

Supervise the execution of HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget. Work closely with the team to control job costs and maintain profitability.

Lead and mentor field, shop, and warehouse personnel, defining roles, goals, and performance expectations. Ensure that career development programs are followed for all employees, including training and advancement opportunities.

Contribute to the development of operational procedures aimed at increasing efficiency and improving profitability across the division.

Ensure quality control on all projects, addressing client needs and fostering positive relationships. Proactively work to improve processes for greater customer satisfaction.

Facilitate communication within the division and across departments to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous improvement. Participate in management meetings to provide updates and resolve any issues.

Review job cost reports weekly to manage profitability and ensure projects are financially on track.

Act as a Safety Officer on job sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

Oversee project punch list closeout and ensure all documentation is completed for timely project closeout.

Ability to operate relevant construction equipment (scissor lifts, forklifts, etc.).

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Certification to operate necessary construction equipment.

Ability to perform office tasks (typing, paperwork) as well as physical tasks (climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs.).

May be exposed to construction site hazards and extreme weather conditions.

Requires the ability to hear, speak, and visually inspect documents and job sites.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Overtime, weekends, or non-traditional hours may be required depending on project needs.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Must obtain a Journeyman's License in a related field within 6 months of hire.
