This planner/coordinator position is a member of a dynamic team responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance functions at the La Porte manufacturing site. This position will be primarily responsible for the planning rotating equipment work and requires diverse machinery knowledge. This role will also be responsible for planning day-to-day machine shop operations and coordinating repairs within the machine shop, along with offsite repairs. In this role you will be responsible for developing planned job packages for machinery repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the PMC (Production Maintenance Coordinator). This role will coordinate and manage third party work activities across the site. The ideal candidate will pay strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.
