We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Coordinator. This is an entry-level role and a great starting point for a long-term career in purchasing and supply chain operations. In this role, you'll work closely with our Buyers and Purchasing Manager, supporting vendor communication and making sure orders are processed accurately and on time. What You'll Do: Support 2-3 Buyers by managing their purchase order (PO) activity Follow up on open orders, check for updates, and make changes in our system (SXE) as needed Respond to assigned support tickets related to vendor orders (around 5-6 per day; more during peak times) Help track and confirm order details, such as shipping notices and pricing changes (including ASN and EDI tracking) Build strong communication with vendors, Buyers, and the Purchasing Manager to keep everything running smoothly Shorr Packaging does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position. The targeted hourly rate for this position is between $20 to $21.50 per hour plus targeted bonus, depending on skills and experience of the selected candidate. What You'll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent (required) At least 6 months of experience in procurement, distribution, or warehousing Basic knowledge of inventory or vendor coordination is a plus Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) A team-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn Shorr Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Together, We Own It!
