Description
SUMMARY:This position will support the overall Total Rewards function by providing compliance and exemplary service to employees, management and the Human Resource Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the Human Resources ticket system for timely benefit issue resolution, or escalation, including eligibility, enrollment, claims issues, and vendor relationships.
- Responsible for Benefit orientation, assisting employees with enrollment in their benefit entitlements and issue resolution. Overseeing compliance with enrollment and declinations of all benefits at point of hire (30 days) and all subsequent qualifying events including the oversight of ACA compliance.
- Manage all leave of absences in conjunction with the third-party administrator and respective Human Resource Manager; including Workers Compensation claims, FMLA, State Paid Leave and facilitate review of ADA with the Total Rewards Manager and HRM.
- Assist Total Rewards Manager with daily management of all benefit programs and policies, including but not limited to communications, employee issue resolution, vendor management, and benefit survey follow-up.
- Manage and schedule all employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Assist with all benefit related internal and external audits with accurate, timely responses of requested information and analysis of protocol adherence.
- Remain proficient in all state and federal compliance and regulatory requirements along with internal policies and procedures. Assist with maintaining written internal documentation to conform with the various regulations and policies.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0-2 years of experience
- Results oriented with the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, including presenting to large groups.

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment
