Enrollment Representative (remote)
This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Enrollment Representative with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS Excel and preferably domain experience in Commercial insurance enrollment or Medicare Enrollment. This is a work-from-home position with a day shift schedule and no travel required.

Job Duties:

Reviewing available member applications for the pending info and accuracy
Data entre the pending info into Client systems
A strong understanding of healthcare concepts
Proficiency in computer skills including typing speed and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information
Knowledge of data entry and transcription

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and validation tasks using MS Excel to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Assist in the enrollment process for commercial insurance and Medicare ensuring all required documentation is accurately processed.
  • Monitor and track enrollment status providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient processing of enrollments.
  • Maintain and update records in the system ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Provide support to clients and stakeholders by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns related to enrollment processes.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the enrollment process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the enrollment process.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing enhancements to existing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment and understanding of enrollment processes.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that may impact the enrollment process.
  • Support the overall goals and objectives of the company by ensuring high-quality and efficient enrollment processing.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required.
  • Possess strong technical skills in MS Excel including data entry validation and report generation.
  • Have experience or knowledge in commercial insurance enrollment or Medicare Enrollment is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Show ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Display problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that may arise during the enrollment process.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Salary and Other Compensation:
    Applications will be accepted until April 3, 2025.
    The hourly rate for this position is between $16.00 - 16.50 per hour, depending on experience and other
    qualifications of the successful candidate.
    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and
    subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
