Life Takes You Places! Are you ready to join us? The base salary range for a Producer Records Specialist is $44,000 to $79,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance. Producer Records Specialist Overview Responsible for the organization's producer onboarding process, administration of producer records, including producer compliance, and reporting related to producer records administration. Ensures company compliance with state regulations governing producer by performing compliance functions related to contracting, license verification, appointment processing and producer contracting. Cross-Functional Interaction: The position interfaces with all levels of the corporation, affiliate partner Blue Cross Blue Shield plan staff, external entities, and internal sales staff. Interacts with appointment processing vendor for coordination. Interacts with independent producer/brokers related to processing agent of record changes. Interacts with Legal regarding Department of Insurance regulations and agent contracts. Interacts with Finance regarding licensing/appointment fee processing and year-end reporting. Interacts with state Department of Insurance staff. Decision Rights and Accountabilities: This position requires little direct supervision. In order to meet corporate objectives this person is expected to make business related decisions and manage tasks independently including: research and resolution of licensing/appointment issues, document change requests for producer related systems, and serve as a tester and subject matter expert. Authorized to determine producer appointment eligibility, based on background questions and interpreting various state Department of Insurance regulations in order to process corresponding appointment. This will ensure compliance to meet state Department of Insurance regulations/guidelines and avoid state penalties and fees. Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to state Licensing, Appointments, and Termination procedures and state requirements.
