Overview

The Site Finance Analyst is responsible for coordinating, conducting & documenting financial analysis activities & projects for a

specific Operations site location. This person assists management in identifying and improving financial and operational issues.



Responsibilities

    Identify, research and evaluate complex and diverse financial and operational issues at the site
  • Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions
  • May assist with annual budget process
  • Liaison with operations to improve billing efficiency
  • Work to improve data quality & collection process to meet changing needs of the organization along with the maintenance of departmental database
  • Recommend new or improved policies and procedures to reflect business needs
  • Establish and maintain relationship with site management to improve data collection
  • Continually develop and improve billing systems and technology
  • Perform month-end analysis as requested
  • Continually look to implement process improvements
  • Provide support to Site Manager on ad hoc projects as needed
  • Ensure billing accuracy and timely payments to the vendors
  • May assist with providing the means to charge back business units for costs incurred on their behalf & for accountable mail services.
  • May assemble, retain, and monitor compliance with all contracts, agreements, and other records and data
  • Maintain effective customer relations.
  • Work with the management to understand business drivers to anticipate & prepare for changes in specifications or volumes.
  • Communicates with management, peers and regional staff members in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Required to be available for some travel.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and participates on special projects as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a focus in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis experience
  • Service Industry and/or international financial experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of all office equipment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and Presentation Software
  • Infinium/AS400
  • Must be a strategic/creative thinker and be results oriented
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of national business laws, accounting principles and reporting requirements
  • Must be able to use good judgment, be analytical and have strong decision making skills
  • Strong forecasting skills
  • Must be business oriented & have strong knowledge of the operations of a business
  • Ability to interpret and advise on financial data
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
