We continue to advance the state of the art in the areas we choose to study and transfer great research results to Azure OpenAI to ensure safe releases of the rapidly advancing AI technologies as well as to expand and enhance our standalone Azure AI Content Safety Service. We are seeking passionate Research Interns in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Multimodal Reasoning & Understanding. In this position, you will conduct both fundamental and applied research under the supervision of Microsoft mentors, prototype and demonstrate technologies, publish results, and most importantly, advance the state-of-the-art in responsible AI technologies to impact millions of users. This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed within this position. The actual duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may vary based on assignment.
ResponsibilitiesResearch Interns put inquiry and theory into practice. Alongside fellow doctoral candidates and some of the world's best researchers, Research Interns learn, collaborate, and network for life. Research Interns not only advance their own careers, but they also contribute to exciting research and development strides. During the 12-week internship, Research Interns are paired with mentors and expected to collaborate with other Research Interns and researchers, present findings, and contribute to the vibrant life of the community. Research internships are available in all areas of research, and are offered year-round, though they typically begin in the summer. |
