The Division of Endocrinology & Diabetes at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is seeking a fellowship trained pediatric endocrinologist for our expanding team. Our program is part of All Children's Specialty Physicians, a growing group practice at JHACH that includes more than 200 physicians. The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Program provides the full spectrum of evaluation and treatment services for children, teens and young adults with a wide variety of pediatric endocrinological problems. Care will be provided on our main campus in St. Petersburg with a possible rotation to one of our outpatient care centers in the region. The division has recently opened the Gender Affirming Care Clinic. This clinic is multidisciplinary in nature and focuses on transgender and gender expansive youth. A pediatric endocrinologist with demonstrated interest/experience in transgender care would be ideal. The ideal candidate is expected to provide clinical care for both inpatient and outpatient endocrine patients and work on program building of specialized patients. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is essential and we also place a high value on leadership qualities. This position will focus on providing clinical care, but physicians may be eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience). JHACH also has opportunities in Sarasota and our newest growth opportunity in Wesley Chapel. The ideal candidate for Wesley Chapel will be scheduled to begin practicing in 207, as the new hospital will have it Grand Opening.
