Overview
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for managing the product development process, analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. They act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications. Additionally, they are responsible for coaching and mentoring junior employees.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
- Lead collaborative workshops with stakeholders to understand their needs and document business and technical requirements
- Create epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives
- Participate in sprint planning sessions to help define the scope and objectives of each sprint
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and priorities
- Assist in user acceptance testing and training development to ensure that delivered solutions meet business needs
- Create well-grounded business cases to support strategic changes and drive senior management buy-in
- Assist with definition and execution of disciplined change management
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they meet business objectives
- Provide business domain knowledge in support of key applications (e.g., Salesforce, Parachute, NetSuite, Brightree, pVerify, etc.)
- Maintain quality of documentation, status, actions, etc. In project management tools to support software development
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that may affect the ability to meet project objectives
- Create and prioritize product backlog(s), ensuring the team is working on the highest value features
- Develop and communicate product vision and roadmap to relevant stakeholders and team members
- Measure and report on product performance and progress towards strategic goals
- Mentor and coach junior employees, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Previous experience in business analysis or related field (4-6 years)
- Previous project management experience
Preferred:
- Previous DME or healthcare industry experience

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to think critically and solve complex business problems
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Demonstrated experience of presenting complex ideas, data, and analysis
- Ability to lean into change and influence adoption
- Ability to project a poised and confident demeanor and effectively communicate point of view, especially during stressful situations
- Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking
- Experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, Jira, Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision
Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$79,800 - $111,720
