Heavy Highway Construction Operator

We are currently hiring Heavy Highway Construction Operators for the 2025 season (April – October). Candidates will have a solid understanding of construction site operations including site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties. As part of our team, you’ll provide assistance to Foreman and Supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loader, bulldozers etc
• Clean the site of debris and remove hazards to ensure safety at all times.
• Transport and position various construction materials.
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Set up and maintain safety barricades, signs, and cones for proper traffic control in work zones.
• Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

• Heavy Highway Construction Experience Preferred
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift to 50+ lbs, stand, kneel, bend, and work for long periods in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to train through an apprenticeship program.
• OSHA 10
• Reliable transportation
