The Director, US Value Evidence and Outcomes Multiple Myeloma and Ovarian cancer, Oncology role will play a critical part in leading Blenrep for Multiple Myeloma and Zejula for Ovarian cancer by generating real world evidence. The successful candidate will have a proven record of health economics and outcomes research strategy development and execution, leadership and research goal attainment.

This is a highly visible and strategically important role for GSK. We are looking for an inspiring health economics and outcomes research leader and highly experienced researcher who can lead the way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following.

Blenrep RWE/HOR Research for Multiple Myeloma (80%):

  • Lead value evidence and strategic team meetings (VEST) for multiple myeloma with a cross functional matrix team

  • Ensure high impact RWE/HOR research by applying appropriate study designs and research methods

  • Lead the development, management, design, implementation of VEO research programs

  • Execute high priority studies to support launch and post launch of Blenrep in the US

Zejula RWE/HOR research for Ovarian Cancer (20%)

  • Lead 1-2 high priority studies to support the marketed product in the US

  • Lead Value Evidence and strategy team meetings by aligning with cross-functional stakeholders (VEST)

RWE/HOR Research (Blenrep and Zejula)

  • Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment with key internal stakeholders (US medical, commercial, Global HEOR, Global medical affairs and market access)

  • Responsible for the management of vendors in execution of VEO projects.

  • Responsible for ensuring regional strategies are implemented throughout the TA.

  • Working with the study delivery leads by maintaining a budget spreadsheet along with study timelines.

  • Responsible for ensuring that RWE/HOR research studies (e.g., retrospective database or chart review; meta-analysis/indirect comparison, prospective longitudinal) are executed and tracked appropriately.

  • Develop and maintain strong alignment with the Field Based Payer Medical Teams to obtain insights from the external customers. Adjust plans accordingly to support reimbursement and access for GSK products.

  • Apply negotiation skills internally and externally to ensure the value of VEO is used to maximum advantage for GSK products.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • MS or PhD in health economics and outcomes research or related discipline (economics, sociology, epidemiology, other)

  • 3 or more years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry including field research facing role, or related field within US Oncology experience.

  • Experience in creating and negotiating the need for real world evidence with key Oncology external customers

  • Experience in developing and executing RWE/HOR research real world data plan by aligning both with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in designing a publication plan and having a presence RWE/HOR studies at major clinical congresses

  • Project Management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Knowledge and experience with managing real world evidence and health economics research including evaluating real world data sources

  • Knowledge and experience with appropriate study designs and methods

  • Experience working with US customers to build long term relationships to conduct RWE/HOR research

  • Knowledge and understanding of requirements for protocol development, disclosure and publication of real-world evidence

  • Drives culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability
