Elwyn seeks an Executive Director Strategy Office Projects & Board Relations to lead project management and execution for various strategic initiatives, provide process support for the Executive office, and oversee Board process management and communication. The Executive Director is responsible for planning and executing project plans for a wide variety of projects from small to large, the operation of the executive office, the coordination of Board planning, communications, and processes, and leads the preparation and execution for a wide variety of executive and leadership team meeting and events on behalf of the President's office. This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires expertise in both project management and day-to-day execution. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development of project plans and execution of a wide variety of projects for the Strategy Office
  • Leads the development of agenda, materials and execution of a variety of events for executive and leadership team members on behalf of the President's Office
  • Leads the Town Hall process from schedule through implementation on behalf of the CEO's office working in partnership with the CEO and his team
  • Develops and oversees support for the executive office including the development of operational process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Serves as project manager for other strategic projects or programs in support of the strategic plan including the coordination of other PM's and other project resources
  • Coordinates resources across multiple departments to ensure deadlines are met and materials are as needed
  • Produces financial and resource allocation models for assigned projects
  • Performs material review to inform decision making. Makes recommendations on next steps
  • Develops and maintains a library of materials on processes, resource templates, etc. to improve operating efficiency
  • Oversees the development of the Annual Board calendar and training requirements
  • Communicates with Board Members on meeting materials and other issues as needed
  • Ensures Board communication guidelines are met
  • Perform additional business-related tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • PMI certification strongly preferred.
  • Five (5) years experience managing complex, matrix responsibility projects for organizations of similar size to Elwyn
  • Experience managing technical and non technical projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Able to plan work and develop strategies without all the answers up front
  • Excellent Microsoft office suite skills including SharePoint, Excel, and Project
  • Current, valid driver's license in the state of residence
  • Minimum (2) years of driving experience and up to (3) years of driving experience (if available) in the United States with an acceptable driving record
