Pay From: $25 Per Hour MUST: At least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Must be licensed in the state of MD Must have experience mixing/compounding IV bags/strong Admixture experience Experience immunotherapy Ability to calculates dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to maintain logs and records Must be able to work in fast paced environment Must have familiarity of proper medication dosing and use Experience maintaining inventory and ordering products Knowledge of proper disposal of materials DUTIES: Mixing and compounding chemotherapy drugs Ready and preapring chemo IV bags Ordering medicines and making sure they are removed and accounted for in Lynx system Receipt of all medication orders Review all orders for completeness of data Prepares and labels medications Prepares billing Calculate dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents Transcription of orders to patient profile in pharmacy software File all completed prescriptions in accord with department standards Refer medical and medication related questions to the appropriate clinical staff: Nurses, Physician, or Pharmacist Assist with unpacking and stocking of incoming products Assist with drug ordering and inventory Preparation of orders in accordance with federal and local regulations (including labeling) Refer issues which require professional judgment, to a pharmacist, for follow up Inventory and product ordering Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
