We are seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA, at Riverside Wellness Village! This role is full-time, first shift, Monday - Friday 8a - 4p. Earn $22.25/hr.! Join the groundbreaking Riverside Wellness Village program, an exciting new initiative from Merakey in partnership with the City of Philadelphia! This innovative program, the largest of its kind, will begin with 132 recovery beds providing safe housing and life-changing treatment opportunities. Position Details The Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) will provide recovery support services for clients receiving services at the Wellness Village. Additional responsibilities will include: * Meet with clients on demand and via scheduled appointments providing effective recovery support services * Assist as needed with high levels of care and reinstatements * Facilitate CRS groups regularly as assigned. * Daily monitoring of the program's Resource Room. * Work at the Front Desk and upper lobby desk as needed and as assigned including early morning shifts and weekends * Set up tables in the lobby to provide resources, educational material, surveys, and basic assessments * Provide effective and timely communication with supervisors, counselors, and case managers on PIRs needs and as resources are obtained and/or changed. * Educate and encourage resistant clients to participate in therapy services. * Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * A High School Diploma or GED * Certified as a Recovery Specialist * One (1) year experience working with persons in recovery (PIR) preferred. * In the last three (3) years maintained at least twelve (12) months of successful part-time paid or volunteer work experience or one (1) of post-secondary education experience totaling twenty-four (24) credit hours.
