Job Duties
- Responsible for the development and support of area(s) of specialization within group.
- Assists with the resolution of departmental, cross-departmental and organizational issues that are barriers to successful utilization and implementation.
- Suggests innovative design alternatives using appropriate applications and technology.
- Identifies methodology and process problems and recommends design of new approaches.
- Ensures thorough and complete unit, functional and integration testing.
- Develops reasonable and efficient project plans and objectives through the review of requirements, resources, task definition, and estimation.
- Ensures effective and efficient system integration with overall system architecture to minimize impact of changes on all customers.
- Assists in preparing annual capital/operating budgets that are realistic and cost-effective. Ensures cost effective use of resources.
- Responsible for work evaluation and performance improvement recommendations for all personnel within group.
- Sensitive to overall group dynamics and proactively fosters teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
- Preferred experience considered in lieu of degree
- 7 years progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or a related Healthcare field
- 3 years progressive experience in a leadership role.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve complex problems and interpret data.
- Demonstrates competence and independence while appropriately alerting management in potential crisis situations.
- High degree of healthcare and technical knowledge at conceptual levels of assigned area(s).
- In-depth organizational perspective with recognition of technology trends and directions.
- Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields
- 12+ years in Radiology and Radiology workflows.
- 10+ years in IT, specifically in imaging and healthcare applications.
- 3+ years of management experience leading teams in imaging or healthcare IT.
- Proficiency with various PACS systems (e.g., Philips IntelleVue) and imaging-related software applications (e.g., Imalogix, Laurel Bridge, Fuji Synapse, Barco QAWeb).
- Deep understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows and associated standards.
- Experience with the selection, implementation, and support of imaging-related AI solutions.
- Ability to define and execute strategies for image migrations, external image sharing, and business continuity planning
- Familiarity with VNA systems and downstream application integration.
Proven ability to manage complex teams and prioritize multiple projects effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with leaders and customers across all organizational levels. PACS Administration expertise, including system configuration and optimization. Ability to analyze metrics and performance data to improve imaging workflows and operations. Experience designing and implementing innovative imaging solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
