Job Summary
Responsible for leading team of IT professionals to deliver innovative solutions for logistics organization within BD. The role will also be responsible for partnering with other business units across BD on their supply chain projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops across multiple functional teams for Global Supply Chain, which includes: Business requirements, Design, fit/gap analysis, build, test, and deployment of business solutions.
  • Provide Business Relationship Management with global Supply chain Stakeholders.
  • Partner with Process, and Operations leaders to establish and improve process standardization & simplification while leveraging existing and new technologies
  • Oversight of Project Planning and Execution, while reporting on project health, issues, risk and action resolution and mitigation.
  • Collaborate and Influence the overall solution design, architect, and process & functional integration
  • Participates in a cross-functional team environment and partner with other organizations to deliver solutions in an agile framework to support the design and implementation of a Global supply chain.
  • Manage resources and budget allocation to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Assess risk and impact of changes to business strategy or operations and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Maintain security and compliance posture of all systems under responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with large scale enterprise level IT organizations preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, TMS and WMS systems like Manhattan, Blue Yonder, and processes.
  • Experience managing staff and direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban etc.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and to make decisions in a timely manner.
