LRI 304th St. Landfill, a proud Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled Landfill Gas Technician to join our passionate team in Graham, WA. As an industry leader in environmental sustainability and waste management, we are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive individual who excels both in collaborative team environments and while working independently.

This full-time, year-round position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on landfill gas operations while advancing sustainability initiatives and environmental responsibility.

  • Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with monthly or occasional Saturdays.

  • The starting pay range will be $22.00 - $25.50/HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Maintain LFG Systems: Manage landfill gas collection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection, monitoring stations, and pneumatic pumps.

  • Monitor and Optimize: Monitor well fields, perimeter wells, pump stations, and leachate levels regularly to improve collection efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Balance extraction wells and perform maintenance and minor repairs.

  • System Maintenance: Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems.

  • Collaboration: Escort and coordinate with third-party contractors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety reports.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial process control, preferably with landfill gas collection systems.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to stand outdoors for up to 10-hour shifts.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

  • Special consideration is given to someone with experience with pneumatic pump troubleshooting and repair.
