The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $60,300.00 - $90,500.00

Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Test Design & Development: Craft hypothesis-driven test plans for website and landing page optimization, including layout, content, images, call-to-action buttons, forms, and applications.
  • Digital Experience Personalization: Create audience segments using a CDP to create personalized experiences across the website and application.
  • Implementation & Management: Utilize testing tools and platforms to set up and launch A/B, split, and multivariate tests. Ensure tests are properly structured to yield reliable data.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results using statistical methods to determine winning variations. Prepare and present detailed reports on test methodologies, results, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • User Experience Optimization: Work closely with the web development and content teams to implement successful test outcomes and best practices into the core website and landing page designs.
  • Market Research & Insights: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in conversion rate optimization, user experience, and digital marketing to apply innovative strategies.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain a sharable knowledge base of test results across channels to increase department-wide understanding of execution that resonates for a specific audience and across audiences.
  • Audiences: Collaborate closely with the Customer Data Platform (CDP) Manager to design and define audience segments for targeted personalization and conversion testing initiatives.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Experience with web testing platforms: Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, or Maxymizer.
  • Familiarity with digital acquisition methods, tools, and platforms.
  • Understanding and use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and a clear understanding of conversion metrics.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience in conversion rate optimization.
  • 1-3 years' experience with reporting and web analytics, preferably experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • 1-3 years' experience with testing methodology, HTML and web design.
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position & Application Details
