Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior eCommerce Business Analyst to work with business owners on strategic initiatives, evaluate and co-create business cases, and help define roadmaps and priorities based on ROI. This role focuses on enabling high-value solutions, driving eCommerce transformation, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of eCommerce front-end and back-end processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership: * Work closely with business owners to understand their initiatives and business needs. * Evaluate and co-create comprehensive business cases for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and create a roadmap focused on ROI and highest-value enablers. Solutioning and Requirement Gathering: * Address solutioning for eCommerce initiatives by analyzing business needs and identifying gaps. * Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams. * Ensure proposed solutions align with eCommerce best practices and organizational goals. Collaboration and Communication: * Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and delivery teams. * Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and regular touchpoints to align priorities and expectations. * Create clear, concise documentation for stakeholders at various levels. Data-Driven Decision Making: * Leverage data to evaluate and recommend priorities for initiatives. * Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success and ROI of implemented solutions. Roadmap and Project Management: * Support the creation and maintenance of the eCommerce roadmap by balancing short-term needs and long-term goals. * Collaborate with PMO or project managers to ensure timely delivery of initiatives. *Skills* E-commerce, Consulting, requirements analysis, roadmap, gap analysis, jira, confluence, communication and people skills *Top Skills Details* E-commerce,Consulting,requirements analysis,roadmap,gap analysis *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: * 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the eCommerce domain. * Proven experience working on large-scale eCommerce projects involving front-end and back-end processes. Technical Knowledge: * Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms * In-depth knowledge of front-end processes: cart, checkout, product pages, and login/registration workflows. * Expertise in back-end processes: supply chain, inventory, payment gateways, fraud management, tax, order fulfillment, CRM, and return management. Soft Skills: * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity. * Collaborative mindset and the ability to influence decisions across functional teams. * Serve as an advisor to the business, assessing their initiatives and ideas (such as in eCommerce) and translating the business needs into technical solutions * Collaborate with various product owners (e.g., for marketplace, UX, payments) to assess their initiatives, coordinate between front-end and back-end teams, and ensure the technical solutions align with the business needs * Challenge the business on their priorities and ensure that the highest-value initiatives are being delivered * Possess strong IT and business acumen to identify potential challenges and technicalities * Work closely with the business while also having a strong technical understanding (70/30 or 60/40 split) * Primarily interact with internal stakeholders, with some potential interaction with third-party vendors * Provide advisory and consulting services, acting as a trusted advisor rather than just a 'yes man' * Approve the delivery to ensure the highest potential ROI for the business * Ideal candidate should have experience working at startups and be able to navigate the complexities of a larger organization *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
