Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Manager: The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Manager will be responsible for completing multiple initiatives and operations of Univar Solutions global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging programs. The Manager is responsible for promoting the Company's DEIB commitments and employer brand both internally and externally and is regarded as an employee advocate for the retention and development of our talent. What You'll Do:
- Assisting the Director in managing key stakeholder and employee volunteer involvement to create and implement DEIB programs.
- Research and promotion of inclusion standard processes, trends and current thought leadership to assist in contributing to solution and program development. Assist in shaping the connection between diversity, inclusion and innovation for the company based on clear understanding of our current DEI maturity and strategic direction.
- Research and help develop efforts to institutionalize the diversity and talent strategies to the internal and external stakeholder communities, influencing and guiding senior staff, and supervisors.
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to influence continuous improvement (Best Practices) of Talent Development and Diversity processes.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the HR function on embedding DEIB into all aspects of our people strategy.
- Assess impact of programs and measure progress; provide written and verbal updates to various audiences including the leadership, campus communities, line staff, and other key partners.
- Managing Infrastructure and standard processes to support for our Employee Resource Networks (ERN); driving coordination between core teams, and ensuring consistent focus and governance across all ERNs on our global DEIB strategic pillars. Serves as the manager of our ERNs and accountable for continued ERN success.
- Help develop meetings and workshops with focus groups to support the development and implementation of DEIB goals and initiatives throughout the organization.
- Coordinate and manage Office of Inclusion initiatives and general project management including but not limited to change management, talent attraction, and learning & development opportunities that drive competency at all levels of the organization.
- Work with the Talent Development Team to support the creation and continued development of DEIB education and training initiatives.
- Coordinate the execution of our communications strategy to drive awareness of all DEIB initiatives across the organization, applying multiple communication channels.
- Evaluate the impact of DEIB programs and measure progress related to employee development and progression; provide written and verbal updates to various audiences including the Network leadership, HR Business Partners, line staff, and other key partners as needed.
- Heavily involved in collecting quantitative and anecdotal data for constructing presentation materials into a 'story' regularly.
- Analyze Diversity Dashboard data trends and develop insights in the preparation of presentations to key stakeholders.
- Assess participation and engagement of employees and leaders in key initiatives; reporting back on visible trends
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or Multicultural Studies, Diversity Certification or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of demonstrated working experience in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion or similar HR-related field and engagement gaps.
- Responsible to develop ongoing measurement strategies including participation rates by employee level, communication metrics monitoring and reporting, and feedback collection.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $116,600- $175,000; actual pay may be subject to geography and experience
