Mustang Cat is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to maintain assigned accounts and collection of outstanding receivables.

Collections Specialist Responsibilities:

• Monitor collections on past-due accounts
• Monthly reporting with effective notation of accounts
• Prioritize and escalate collections to exceed goals
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure timely payments received in a high volume and goal driven department
• Process refunds
• Small balance write-offs
• Account reconciliations
• Work with Sales team on collection initiatives as needed
• Additional responsibilities and special projects assigned as needed

Collections Specialist Requirements:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Solid understanding of Accounting Principles
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, over the phone)
• Able to follow specific processes
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of Customer Lending Laws and Lien Laws
• Detail oriented and organized
• Professional negotiation skills
