DSP-Group Home Setting

High Island Creek is a 13-Person Residential Home for individuals with Developmental Disabilities is looking for individuals who are compassionate with a caring demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with our residents.

Current Schedule Openings

• 34 hours per week (combination of 2pm-9pm and 230pm - 9pm) does include every other Saturday & Sunday

Responsibilities

- Provide direct care and support to individuals in long term care, personal care homes, and community settings.

- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs.

- Utilize premium skills such as first aid and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

- Respect and uphold residents' rights and dignity.

- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members.

- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and empathy in all interactions.

Starting Wage: $17.34 (higher based on experience)

- Long term care experience

- First aid certification

- Working with people with developmental disabilities

- Ability to perform ADLs

- Strong communication skills
