Field Marketing & Special Events Intern

We are currently seeking a Field Marketing & Special Events Intern to join our team! This is your chance to gain real-time experience in marketing while finishing your degree!

We are looking for an Intern to work 20-30 hours per week to help us coordinate marketing tactics and local events in St George, UT and surrounding areas. We are seeking someone that has flexibility to work daytime and some evening or weekend events.

Pay: The base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $17.00 per hour.

Intern Resources:

Our interns partner with seasoned professionals to help with executing high-priority company projects and day-to-day operational activities. As an intern, TDS offers you:

Access to an Intern Associate Resource Group (ARG). This group's purpose is to support you by providing extra resources for development, opportunities for internal advancement, and forums to connect with other interns throughout the company. ARG meets once per month to allow you to hear from other interns about their projects, as well as leaders within our organization about their team. They host networking events to grow your connections within the organization with the goal of finding full-time employment by your graduation.

As a Field Marketing & Special Events Intern on our team, you will get the opportunity to -

• Support the Marketing team (AM-Field Marketing) on marketing events and projects to meet goals. This may include, but is not limited to:
• Researching local real estate and distributing door hangers.
• Assist with Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) marketing opportunities.
• Coordination of materials used at community events, parades, and pop-up events, and engaging with potential customers to support all activities in the market.
• Managing materials used to collect customer information for the sales team for lead generation follow up.
• Coordinating, tracking, and ordering promotional items, ordering food, organizing entertainment, and assuring proper event set up.
• Managing promotional inventory.
• Coordinating and scheduling the use of company vehicles or mobile demos.
• Coordinating employee volunteer responsibilities to support execution of marketing events.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to work daytime, evenings, and some weekends
• Must have valid drivers license

Benefits

Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates).
