*Description*
The client is growing their business architecture team to support two large projects. Project 1: working on a strategy workshop in a multiple workshop scenario, running from Jan-May. This will be for the mechanical vertical (5 opco's) in an exec steerco structure. Project 2: #1 priority- this is for the entire life safety US Business and will be an entire multi review for 15-16 pain points that have been identified across the Life Safety Op CO's. This will be run in a multi sprint agile framework (rinse and repeat in 30 day cycle) and will consist of interviewing OpCo executives, conducting workshops with them, and then giving them information they can start working with. Won't be putting together firm recommendations, rather will be working with company presidents and VP's to have high level discussions around meeting The client's financial targets and helping the OpCo leaders align with the client's strategic goals. The objectives and tasks will be identified through interviews and workshops. This project team will then help the OpCo's make decisions to tackle challenges. Looking to start this project by end of Jan and will run through mid-late July. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Architect to lead and execute a strategic workshop effort within our Business Architecture team. This is a multi-sprint initiative designed to enhance our business strategies and align them with our organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have exceptional people, storytelling and facilitation skills, possessing a keen ability to drive meaningful conversations and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Workshop Execution: Organize and execute strategy execution workshops, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations. * Storytelling: Craft and communicate compelling strategic narratives that resonate with stakeholders, turning complex ideas into clear, engaging stories that drive action and understanding. * Facilitation: Utilize exceptional facilitation skills to lead workshops, encouraging open dialogue and innovative thinking among participants. * Strategic Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans, including goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the business's vision. * Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify business needs, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. * Documentation and Reporting: Develop comprehensive documentation of workshop outcomes, strategies, and action plans. Provide regular updates to steering committee and key stakeholders. * Communication: Utilize communication strategies that ensure simple, consistent, clear, and impactful messaging using the business's language. * Executive Presentation: Prepare and help deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership, clearly communicating key strategic insights and recommendations. * Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved within scope and timeframes. * Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the Business Architecture function by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and strategic development *Skills* Business architecture, Bizbok, Agile *Top Skills Details* Business architecture,Bizbok,Agile *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Strong business architecture experience in a large enterprise environment - experience defining as is and to be - experience conducting/leading workshops with an audience of VP's/executives - experience creating organizational maps in business architecture, mapping out bottlenecks and identifying where in the organization work is happening (for example, work is done by a third party or internal and defining how that differs between the different OpCo's) - experience building stakeholder maps and using those to determine communication strategy * Exceptional storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills with a track record of effectively engaging diverse audiences. * Proven experience as a Business Architect, Strategist, or similar role within a complex organization. * Experience working with strategy workshops or similar facilitation roles. * Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into actionable capability models and roadmaps. * People and business-focused * Understanding of Business Architecture principles and practices. * A critical thinker with a curious mindset * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. * Thrives in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. * Exercises a problem-solving mindset and mature judgment to prioritize work & effort. * Proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $115.00 * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) *Workplace Type* This is a fully onsite position in New Brighton,MN. *Application Deadline* This position will be accepting applications until Jan 10, 2025.
